Bilbao is a port city on the north Atlantic coast of Spain. It is a modern, thriving center of commerce. The north of Spain in is probably Spain's wealthiest area. Catalans / Basques peoples are said to have originated in the Pyrenees Mountains of norther Spain / Southern France.
