Prize shot: this one shot was worth the whole trip. It was taken from the observation post.
Our guide carrying a powerful shotgun for protection. He said he would only have time for one shot should a bear charge us. We stayed behind him.
This bear was blocking our path. Eventually, a ranger came along and harassed her by throwing rocks to get her to move on.
She stoped for a potty break.
Bear scat - she left her mark along the trail we took leaving the blind.
Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
"Observatory" built over the river where bears and eagle feed. There's a lower level blind, screened with black webbing, for closer viewing of wildlife.
WOW, a rarely seen wolverine - a forest ranger said it they are rarely spotted. See i t more closely in the next image.
The view down stream from falls.
Mothers and cubs frolicking in the stream just above the water fall — notice the bear hanging out high up in the tree.
