A place for prayer and honoring Jesus in the family home. The statuette on the left is of the Santo Niño (holy child), a major saint in Aklan and other areas of the Visayan Islands.
Another member of the extended family has a bus service running between the capital of Aklan, Kalibo, and Banga. He graciously provided transportation to family members going to the farewell feast.
