Driving Through History
Our cousins had a Ford like this one. I am not clear about the vintage but it was probably late 1920s or early 30s, after which automobiles became more streamlined.

Notice the door handles are in the middle of the car. The rear doors opened on hinges at the back of the door. The next image shows an example of an open Fordor sedan. It looks to be a slightly older vintage. A squirrel tail was commonly tied onto a strategic spot for decoration

I clearly remember climbing into this old Tin Lizzy. There were so many kids that some of us stood up on the floor in the back because there was not enough room on the seats. Seat belts had yet to be invented.

Harry and Louise were good at producing children and needed a big car.
